Lucy Scott-Moncrieff Solicitor

Welcome to Scott-Moncrieff & Associates Ltd.

Scott-Moncrieff, or ScoMo as it is affectionately called, gets its name from our highly active Chair and co-founder, Lucy Scott-Moncrieff.

With the spirit of determination, expertise and innovation which has characterised ScoMo from the start, Lucy co-founded the Firm over 30 years ago to combine the flexibility of self-employment with her new role as a mother, following the birth of her eldest son.

It is a source of great pride that that spirit has prevailed over 3 decades and our team is bigger and stronger than ever. ScoMo attracts lawyers who are recognised leaders in their field and our management and admin structure ensures they can perform at the top of their game. Overseen by the Law Society, ScoMo is Lexcel accredited, in recognition of genuine and full commitment to the highest practice management standards.

We offer expert legal advice from our base in Nottingham and surrounding areas, through face-to-face contact or online, via Skype, or by phone. We advise people, companies and other organisations on a full range of legal issues, bringing the full weight of expert teams of specialists to supporting and advising our clients.

In addition to being the undisputed leader and continuing pioneer in the fields of Public Law, Legal Aid and Mental Health, ScoMo has broadened its skills base and reputation of excellence to include Private Client, Personal Injury, Family Law, Employment and the full range of Company and Commercial services including litigation.  The growth of services and a highly experienced team means ScoMo has the ability and expertise to offer clients a strong multi-disciplined team at any time, always at an upfront and affordable cost.
